With 48+ years experience as a professional portrait photographer, and many of the latest years as a consultant for other photographers – I now start doing “One 2 One” consultation in Portugal for photographers that want to be even better.

Do you want to be a even better photographer?

I introduce “One 2 One” consultation in your own studio or work space (location). You need to have a model available, and I see how you work, – and then tell, and show, you what was good – and how to do it even better.

In studio: (Portugal)

Lights (+ eventually reflectors)
Background
Lens + aperture
Communication with the model
Analyzing of your equipment in the studio

On location: (Portugal)

Location analyzis – time of day, etc.
Continues light, flash, reflectors
Lens + aperture

This work take minimum 2 hours, and must be held in English. Reimbursement for driving/travel is additional.

Website fotografiens-hus.no – anno 2005

I januar er det 20 år siden jeg lagde denne PDF’en av hele websiden til Norges Fotografforbund. Jeg var både webutvikler og redaktør for denne – i tillegg til å ha vært daglig leder i NFF, galleribestyrer i Fotografiens Hus – og redaktør, annonseselger og grafisk produksjon av fagbladet Norsk Fotografisk Tidsskrift.

Websiden ble laget fra bunnen av – WordPress var ikke kjent den gangen (hvis den fantes) – og koden var “Lasso”, som ligner veldig på PHP. Dataene kom fra en FileMaker database. Alt var egenutviklet, da det ikke fantes noen mal man kunne starte med.

For 20 år siden fant jeg ut at det kunne lages en PDF av hele websiden – med “alle” lenker i behold.
PDF’en er på 5.624 sider.

Prosjektet med websiden startet ca år 2000 – og ble presentert på Landsmøtet det året.
Budsjettet for det hele var på kr. 20.000,-.

In January it was 20 years since I created this PDF of the entire website for the Norwegian Photographers’ Association. I was both a web developer and editor for it – in addition to having been the general manager of the Norwegian Photographers’ Association, gallery manager at Fotografiens Hus – and editor, advertising salesman and graphic production of the photographer magazine Norsk Fotografisk Tidsskrift.

The website was created from scratch – WordPress was not known at the time (if it existed) – and the code was “Lasso”, which is very similar to PHP. The data came from a FileMaker database. Everything was self-developed, as there was no template to start with.

20 years ago I found out that a PDF of the entire website could be created – with “all” links intact.
The PDF is 5,624 pages long.

The project with the website started around the year 2000 – and was presented at the National Assembly that year.
The budget for the whole thing was NOK. 20,000,-.
